About 2 years ago I got a new cell phone.  Good, no?  Well, good and bad.  Turns out, the person who used to have my phone number decided that paying bills just wasn't in his master plan.  So for TWO YEARS, daily, I get at least one call for this person.  It has gotten so bad that part of my voicemail greeting says, "If you are calling for Jeffrey, this is no longer his number." Crazy thing is, they STILL leave me a message! 

"Is Jeffrey there?"  "No."

"Is this Jeffrey?"  NO!?!"

"Do you know where Jeffrey is?"  "OMG, No!"

"Do you have an alternate contact number for him?"  

[Here's where I usually lose it a little]

Listen lady, Jeffrey used to have this phone number and now it's mine and I don't know where he is and I'm not related to him and I don't even know WHO he is and I don't know how to find him.  Actually, if you find him, just send him to me and I will take care of the situation for you because I guarantee you that he has caused me more trouble in the past two years than the effort you are spending trying to get the $15 dollars back that he forgot to pay from a late fee on his Blockbuster Video membership card six years ago."

The moral of the story: pay your bills so some suburban mom doesn't have to get all medievil on your a** because you ran away from your bills.  Jeffrey Szcalicki, if you are out there, you better hope they find you first.  Ok, I feel better now :)

Welcome Back!

Hey everyone, welcome to my newly redesigned (ok, designed) blog.  Thanks to my super duper talented and wonderful BFF Darcy, I have a beautiful blog space to call my own.  You out there can take a peek over at her website at www.graphicallydesigning.com to see the beautiful work that she does.  I'm just lucky enough to know some amazing people.  I must now pay her in gnocchi.  My gnocchi are really good, but trust me, I got the better deal :)
